Chief Operating Officer at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH)
Mr. Sagar Al-Anazi is Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH), bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience across engineering, operations, and healthcare.
He oversees a wide portfolio of clinical functions, including Radiology, Laboratory, Pharmacy, and Occupational Health, as well as non-clinical functions, which include Operational Category, Supply Chain, Corporate Affairs, and Patient Support and Patient Experience Services – among others.
He also leads JHAH’s Care Forward Plan to expand capacity and advance patient-centered care across the Dhahran campus.
Mr. Al-Anazi began his career at Saudi Aramco as a Chemical Engineer, later serving in senior leadership roles such as Acting Director of Abqaiq Plants, where his team earned international recognition through an award for digitalization and innovation from the World Economic Forum.
During his time at Aramco, he also served as Director of the Area Loss Prevention Department, where he was responsible for developing, governing, and maintaining Aramco’s safety policies and standards.
Mr. Al-Anazi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, an MBA from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, and has completed Executive Leadership Programs at London Business School and Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
He is also a recipient of the Aramco CEO Excellence Award.
