Mohammed Hajjaj Al-Harbi is the Chief Internal Auditor at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare, effective September 1, 2025.

His experience in internal audit, governance, and risk management has been extensive and varied. Before joining JHAH, Al-Harbi served as Chief Audit Officer at ASMO (Procurement & Logistics Hub), a Saudi Aramco and DHL joint venture, from December 2023 to August 2025. In this role, he established the Internal Audit function from inception, drafted the audit charter and policy manual in line with global IIA standards, and assembled a capable audit team. He developed and executed risk-based audit plans and concurrently served as Board Audit Committee Secretary, organizing meetings and following up on action items to closure.

Prior to ASMO, Al-Harbi served as Manager of Internal Auditing Planning and Performance Division at Saudi Aramco from June 2023 to November 2023, where he developed the organization's business plan and facilitated the development of the global internal audit plan for Board Audit Committee approval. He also established a contracting unit to handle co-sourced audits, leveraging resources from major accounting firms to fill expertise gaps in specialized areas.

Al-Harbi served as Audit Manager for the Digital & Advisory Audits Division from January 2023 to May 2023, overseeing quality assessment reviews of audit engagements and promoting advisory services. Before that, he was an Auditing Specialist and Data Analytics Group Leader from January 2022 to December 2022, where he executed data-driven audit activities and developed a sustainable audit analytics strategy. He served as Lead Auditor in the Information Systems Audit Division from September 2021 to December 2021.

From January 2017 to August 2021, Al-Harbi led the Applications Quality and Security Assurance Group, managing a team of Application Security Analysts in performing code reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments. His earlier career with Saudi Aramco included serving as Unit Head for Performance and Compensation Management from March 2010 to December 2016; HR Systems Lead Consultant at Aramco Services Company in Houston, United States, from March 2009 to February 2010; Lead Technical Analyst in the Payroll and Benefits Division from January 2006 to February 2009; Data Warehouse Analyst in the SAP Business Warehouse Division from January 2005 to December 2005; and Application Developer for SAP Human Resources from July 2002 to December 2004.

Al-Harbi earned a Master of Business Administration from Open University, Bahrain, in 2007; a Master of Environmental Sciences from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in 2022; and a Bachelor of Computer Science from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in 2002. He is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Project Management Professional (PMP), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
