We offer a personal level of healthcare that aims to avoid you seeing a different member of staff each time you visit, and enables you to build a close relationship with your caregivers. Led by your Primary Care physician, our Care Team model brings together doctors, case managers, practice coordinators and schedulers, to work with you as a team. This ensures continuity of care, which is associated with better long-term health and wellbeing.
Should you or your family suffer serious illness, our medical team’s expert knowledge and long-term understanding of your medical history and background will mean you can be treated more effectively.
As well as offering a range of clinics and wellbeing programs, Primary Care at Dhahran provides essential services such as a pharmacy, screening tests and immunizations. JHAH is also here for you and your family in your home, your office, or on-the-go, through our online health portal,, MyChart.

Dahran Primary Care Clinic
Our Primary Care Clinic at Dhahran has a proud history of providing exceptional healthcare to Saudi Aramco employees and their families. As well as being home to a team of expert clinicians who can diagnose and treat a wide range of illnesses, we provide a series of wellness programs, as well as important everyday services, including a pharmacy, laboratory testing, and immunizations.

Our main Primary Care pharmacy offers a welcoming environment with an individual consultation for each patient.
To minimize any waiting time, we recommend that you request your medication/refill in advance of your visit, by using MyChart.

Laboratory & Screening Tests
During your visit, your doctor may request tests to help find out more about your condition. This could be anything from a simple blood test or urine sample to a full body scan, and will either be carried out straightaway or scheduled for a later date. Our expert medical staff will talk you through the procedure, make sure you are comfortable during the test, and then give you time to recover afterwards should you need it.

Immunizations
Whether you want to reduce your chances of catching flu during the winter months, or protect your family from diseases while travelling abroad, our dedicated Immunization Room can provide vaccinations. Located close to the main reception, the room includes eight immunization cubicles and a comfortable waiting area.

Children's Care
Treating a sick child requires a special set of skills, but you can rest assured that our dedicated team of pediatricians will provide the best possible care. Whether your child is suffering from an ailment or requires a vaccination, they will be treated with compassion and sensitivity. We also encourage regular Well Child Visits, so that we can monitor your child’s health at different stages of their growth.

We have taken great care to provide amenities and services to make your visit to Primary Care as convenient as possible.
If you are feeling thirsty or hungry while you wait to be seen – and you have not been asked to fast before your treatment – hot and cold refreshments are available at our coffee shop. If you are traveling by car, you will find free parking around the Primary Care Clinic, with car parks to the north, south-east and west of the buildings. Complementary valet parking is available to patients with appointments next to the Dental clinic.

If you are traveling by car, you will find free parking around the Primary Care Clinic, with car parks to the north, south-east and west of the buildings. In the event that you cannot find a space, there are further car parks around the main hospital building and Speciality Clinics building.
Food and drink
If you are feeling thirsty or hungry while you wait to be seen – and you have not been asked to fast before your treatment – hot and cold refreshments are available at our coffee shop, located in the eastern wing of the Primary Care Clinic. You will also find vending machines stocking drinks and snacks.
Play area
Children can become restless if they are asked to wait for any length of time, which is why we have created a fun play area. For use by children aged two to six, it provides a safe and entertaining space – and there is a seating area for parents just outside.
Medical interpreters
To ensure you clearly understand any medical advice and ask any questions you may have, we provide dedicated interpreters who can translate information from Arabic to English, and vice-versa. If you require this service, please ask at Primary Care reception or speak to a nurse.

Home Healthcare
Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) Dhahran Health Center offers Home Healthcare to our patients who cannot visit our health center. Home Healthcare trained JHAH healthcare professionals come to your home and provide services such as dressing changes and blood draws.

Home Healthcare is associated with multiple benefits for the patient, including better quality of life, reduced stress, and greater satisfaction.

Register with Dhahran Primary Care
Complete a simple registration process to become a patient at Dhahran Primary Care. This quick procedure ensures you have access to our full range of healthcare services and facilities.
Choose a doctor
Select a Primary Care physician who will be your main point of contact for all your healthcare needs. Your doctor will coordinate your care and provide referrals to specialists when needed.
Schedule an appointment
Book your first appointment using MyChart, our convenient online portal, or by calling our Centralized Contact Center at 800-305-4444. Once scheduled, you're ready to begin your healthcare journey with JHAH Primary Care. If you would like to schedule an appointment with your Primary Care physician, the easiest way is through our MyChart health portal or alternatively call the centralized call center. MyChart empowers you to manage and monitor your health, with more than 20 functionalities available, including appointment booking, medication requests, laboratory test results and communication with your clinicians. If you cannot attend an appointment, please let us know – you could be freeing up a slot for another grateful patient. Do not forget to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. If you are late, you will need to reschedule.
